Refund Policy

At Coastal Heirloom Studio, we are committed to providing a high-quality luxury photography experience. Due to the custom nature of photography services, time reservation, editing, and digital delivery, the following refund policy applies to all bookings and services.

 

1.Non-Refundable Retainer

A non-refundable retainer fee of $75 is required to reserve all photography sessions. This retainer:

  • Secures your session date and time

  • Covers scheduling, planning, and preparation

  • Is applied toward the total session balance

Because dates are reserved exclusively for each client, retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances except the following:

  • An evacuation order has been given

  • Severe Weather at the time of your session

  • Photographer cancels due to illness or other emergency

 

2.Session Payments

​

Any remaining balance is due at the time of the scheduled session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once photography services have been rendered, payments are non-refundable.

 

3.Cancellations

If a Client chooses to cancel their session:

 

  • The $75 retainer will be forfeited

  • Any additional payments made beyond the retainer may be refunded at the discretion of Coastal Heirloom Studio if services have not yet been performed

 

4.Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule may be offered due to:

 

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Emergency circumstances

  • Unforeseen events

Rescheduled sessions are subject to photographer availability. Repeated rescheduling requests may require a new retainer fee.

 

5.Digital Products & Delivered Images

Due to the digital and custom nature of photography products:

 

  • All delivered galleries

  • Downloaded digital images

  • Edited photographs

  • Albums or printed products are non-refundable once delivered.

 

6.Editing & Artistic Style

Clients acknowledge that they are hiring Coastal Heirloom Studio based on the photographer’s portfolio, editing style, and artistic vision.

 

Refunds will not be issued due to:

 

  • Personal aesthetic preferences

  • Editing style disagreements

  • Pose or expression preferences

  • Wardrobe choices

  • Weather or lighting conditions beyond control

 

7.Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event Coastal Heirloom Studio must cancel due to emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond control, the Client will receive:

 

  • A rescheduled session date whenever possible OR

  • A full refund of payments made, including the retainer
